  • 1 box Chocolate Cake mix
  • 1 cup softened Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 7 oz vegan marshmallow creme
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • Chocolate Chips or gray/black round cake decorations

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven as per the chocolate cake mix instructions and line a baking tray with cupcake liners.
  2. Prepare the cupcakes according to package directions and cool completely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well, then fold in vegan marshmallow creme.
  4. Transfer frosting to a piping bag and generously frost each cooled cupcake. Use chocolate chips for eyes and additional decorations for mouths.
  5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
