  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • Strawberry and vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Add egg, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth. Gradually stir in boiling water.
  3. Grease two round cake pans and divide batter evenly. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Cool cakes before preparing ice cream layers by mixing cream cheese with sugar and folding in Cool Whip.
  5. Assemble by layering one chocolate cake with strawberry mixture, followed by the second layer and vanilla mixture.
  6. Frost with whipped cream and freeze for at least four hours before serving.
