  • 275g granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 335g all-purpose flour
  • 180ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Pink food coloring

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan by greasing and lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. Cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time.
  4. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk into the mixture until combined.
  5. Divide batter into three bowls; color one pink with food coloring and mix cocoa powder into another.
  6. Layer batters alternately in the prepared pan and swirl gently.
