  • ¾ cup (150 g) light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup (128 g) mini chocolate chips, divided

  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 1 minute and let cool.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Combine melted butter and brown sugar in a large bowl; mix until smooth. Add egg, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract; stir until well mixed.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
